The 1974-D DDO grade was bogus! I found one in a hunt and it received a MS64. Sheesh! But another great batch of Morgans!

Good Job Treasure Hog, congrats on the grades. MS 63 on that 1974 D DDO is criminal. The one we found for Walker in a bank box graded MS 62 and there is a big difference in the 2, having seen them in person. I am not a grader by any means, but that is a shock.

It's a travesty. If you look at the top pop images on PCGS and compare it to Walker's, they are so close it's ridiculous.

These grading companies can be tough for sure. I'm an NGC guy and they are much the same. Nice coins and congrats, brother! You have me motivated to submit some now LOL

It's tough, but fun nonetheless! In my previous video with the CC submissions, I plan on cracking out the 1882 that got a "Residue" UNC Details. Wanna see what a little MS70 will do for it. Worst case I get it back Cleaned UNC Details and I'm out $40 more, but I'll still get my money out of it!

How do you find the current prices for Morgan's I want to get into them more but values are all over the place

Thanks for watching! There are several resources to help determine value. Personally I use the PCGS website, because I grade through them. But, the Greysheet is very popular too. The difference you see is typically retail vs. wholesale. In my experience selling coins, I get 60%-70% of the retail pricing on PCGS. Coins are not a commodity, each one is unique. So, prices will fluctuate constantly. The best way to get realistic up-to-date value is to look at recent auction prices and what coins are ACTUALLY selling for. Ebay is a great resource for that, and for the higher value coins you can look at Heritage Auctions or any other high end auction house. Hope this helps!
