I love your videos. Came here from Vipervideos channel. He highly recommended yours. I just bought my Javelin airbow last night. So excited! But it has an issue, it's sold out in my entire city, and Umartex is closed down due to Covid. When I screw in a co2, ALL the air immediately blows out the barrel. The gun was not cocked and the safety was on. So I cocked it and cycled the chamber, Inserted a new co2, and it did it again. I can't afford to keep throwing co2's in it. Anyone have any ideas what I can do?

Sorry your having a bad time with it man. If I'm understanding your explanation correctly your Javelin is NOT cocked when you insert the new co2, correct? Whenever any PCP or co2 gun is empty you should cock it and leave it cocked with the safety on while you insert the new co2 then you can take the safety off and hold the cocking handle while pulling the trigger and slowly let the cocking handle go forward, de cocking the gun. If the co2 still blows out the barrel then it needs a new poppet valve inside. I know Umarex is hard to get in touch with on the phone but I think you can get through with email and maybe even get a call back. Make sure you mention the wasted co2 and the cost. Maybe they will repair it and send you some to replace them with. Cocking the gun BEFORE you insert a new co2 should have been put into the instruction but it wasn't in mine. This is a good idea with all co2 and PCP guns as the spring pushing the hammer against the poppet valve can hold it open and let the co2 or HPA out before there is enough pressure to hold the poppet closed. Hope this helps man
