Yeah I know, I watched a few minutes back when it launched as well. Point is, it's a plastic enclosure with a CD drive and mainboard inside of it. Should take an hour or so to figure out how to open and tear it down without any reference material.

These guys are so clueless, they dived in not even knowing what they were opening. You would think that they would do a bit of research before diving into it! The guy on the right said that the basic and deluxe versions were exactly the same except for colors. That means that he hadn't even so much as read the box before filming this! He opened the Box the wrong way and did a million other things incorrectly. You can tell that the guy on the right has no knowledge at all about the Wii U after just 50 seconds in. What a fool!

Actually MARNY, the Wii U has some pretty good hardware... It has a custom built IBM gaming CPU that's over 3 GHz POWERPC based (POWERPC = OP). It also has an AMD graphics card with unified shader architecture. It runs games at a solid 60 FPS and 1080p. I have no idea why your saying the Wii U sucks, due to the PS4 having a freaking dirt crap AMD. Think before you talk, you can't just judge a machine by the outside.

TheArbiter66 The Wii U play games directly off the disk. The 8/32gb is more for save files than anything else; Which at that size is more than plenty. It doesn't need for large space to install games. If you do need more space for DLC or digital game Wii U support external hard drive.

yes they should, my 400$ gaming pc can run assassians creed 3 1080p 60 fps, but my wii u cannot do the same as for the ram, 1 gb for gaming is very low and cause even the simplest games to lag as for the storage, the white wii u only has 4 gb of usable storage, i bought pikmin 3 digital copy and the moment after i bought it, i ran to wall mart to buy a flash drive so i could play the game i dont hate the wii u, infact itsmy second favorite console(if you count pc as a consol) i enjoy playing mario 3d world, which is a great game, but i am not able to play it cause my gamepad broke which is going to cost me 100$ to fix. that is rediculous, the gamepad is one of the most expensive controllers ever made, its peaks at 150$ if you straight up want to buy a new one from nintendo customer support

Did you buy your PC or build it yourself? Because $400 bucks sounds like a pleb tier PC. The Wii U plays Ass Creed at 1080p 30 something FPS, big whoop, it's a video game console. You really do not know the difference between consoles and computers. Computers need more RAM because the PC runs a lot of OS operations in the background, a console dedicates all it's RAM to the game being played. The reason your Wii U is slowing down is because of your thumb drive, not the RAM of the machine, idiot. I have Pikmin too and it works just fine for me. No crap Corporal! It's a freaking expensive controller, you just have to not break it! As long as it wasn't your fault, then you can just send it back and get a new one because warranty. None of the reasons you stated are legitimate reasons the Wii U is "bad".

Wii u has 1080p capability and can put out graphics at least as good as ps3/xbox 360. Sure it's not ps4/xbone graphics but shit, those consoles graphics aren't shit compared to a high end gaming computer. So i guess you could say it has the potential for hd blood splatter :P. The Wii U uses its own custom format that is neither Bluray or DVD, but this custom format is more similar to Bluray than it is to DVD as it can hold around the same amount of Data that Bluray can. I believe the disc drive and discs for the Wii U were developed by Panasonic.

I'm not sure if they explain this in the video because I am only watching bits and pieces but the sensor bar isn't a sensor at all. It's just too lights. You can get some scissors (if you want) cut the sensor bar and just use two candles and there you go, you have a home made sensor bar. Basically what is happening is the wii remote finds the two lights and the depth, and then sends a signal to the console. That's why a lot of the "motion controls" hardly work in games :p

Couple of things: First, the wii was 2.5 gamcubes in terms of processing power. It actually has a part of it dedicated to running GC games. Second: Look at the Wii and the WiiU. WiiU has double the ram, and outputs video at 1080p. It may have a slower start-up, but it has much more features to make up for it. Third: The difference between Xbox and Xbox 360 is more like a prototype and a constantly updating finished product, as the XBOX was only around for about 4 years before the 360 came.

Yes mate, do they have the pressure sensitive face buttons like Dual Shock though?. You know how you press square gently to bring up the gun sights and de press gently if you do not want to fire?. See because I played Metal Gear collection on Vita and it was very hard to get used to without those pressure sensitive buttons. It was like 2 or 3 different combinations just to bring your gun out, then lower it if you didn't want to fire lol. I heard there was software to get PS3 pads working on PC?

I am a PC user Artist Animator by day and play games only in bed late at night on Wii. I don't own PS3 or 360, and I don't use the PC for gaming. Obviously I have pooled all my focus onto the Wii for my gaming itch. I own over 150 Wii titles. If you are new to Wii/Wii U and want some inexpensive entertainment, look to the Wii library and not just Wii U. With over 150 Wii games in my library, they can't all be Mario can they? A little research will expose a ton of cool games you can enjoy.
