This video explains the role of pcsk9 inhibitors and statins in up-regulating the LDL receptor levels thereby decreasign LDL-cholesterol. pcsk9 inhibitors increases the expression of ldl receptors and likewise statins also increases the expression of ldl receptors. Mechanism of pcsk9 inhibitors and stains in increasing ldl receptors is explained in detail.
