Yeah we do too. Always a highlight when you get fresh supplies!

I love Lara Bars. I think it's kind of a joke among the people that I hike with that I always bring along Lara bars. The one exception is the penut butter and jelly bar. They don't add any salt (like a hiker sweating through several liters of water a day needs to keep their salt intake down), and it could really use salt.

In the end Lara bars were my favourite especially the pie flavoured ones (Lemon). Also I haven't been put off by peanut butter as yet!

Thanks Liverpudlians! Hope you have a great time on the PCT. Great news on the permit dates. If you have any questions then ask away or head over to our blog which has way more info about the PCT (treksnappy.com).

I see Danielle's arm is better and you like as much ketchup as she does. That high elevation sign is misleading . Going through the Goat Rocks if you take the alternate which use to be the original PCT trail you would be going over OLD SNOWY which is above 7880feet. Just think if you weren't in China you could be playing in the snow as 2 feet of snow fell above 3000 feet over Thanksgiving and Friday.

We saw some weather updates via Reddit. Glad we're not around some of the regions now as I guess it can get quite scary! We intend to go back to the Goat Rocks area in the future so would love to do the Old Snowy route then.
