Wayne by looking at your backpack it seems like their is no room to tightening it anymore so where was the cooking with the new supplies as you could use it.

I did stabilise my weight in the end (well did't lose any more). I have now put a healthy 14 lb back on now through rice & noodles!

Again, a sad look to the oregon forest. must be not a lot of fun passing .

I really like the old forest. I'm no expert so I do not know how best it is to manage large areas of forest. Nature wouldn't remove the dead wood except by decomposition.
