I am watching in November of 2020. I have been planning a thru-hike of the AT, and religiously watching Darwin's videos. Words cannot describe the heartbreak I experienced when he lost his spork this video.

Your videos are making me homesick. I grew up in the Sierras and I live in Europe now. I'd love to be back where there is some wilderness left. Keep it up with the great videos. I'm enjoying this experience.

It's "crazy" how an inanimate object can become a close friend. I have an insulated cup that has been with me on EVERY trip since the early 80's. I will go into mourning if I ever lose it.

Beautiful view and I especially liked the flowers along the trail. You are amazing, blowing out 20++ miles, major climbs in brutal heat and still take the time and effort to provide us with outstanding video. God Bless

I'm glad you missed the bad fires here in CA and got to see lassen and burney falls and Shasta and castle crags before one of the worst fires in CA hit that area. But I look forward to your post as you go thru there. Hopefully you got to miss the bad fires in OR too. Sorry about your spork. Hate it when I lose things, but things are replaceable. That's what I keep telling myself anyway. Lol. But the memories are irreplaceable. Keep making more. Look forward to your upcoming adventures on the PCT.

your vlogs, but I have a hard time relating to the 30 mile days. Yes, I know John Muir quite regularly hiked such miles, but It's so far beyond my abilities I can't relate. I'm an 8 to 10 mile a day hiker. I'm now 76 but I was just as slow paced when I was younger. In about 7 days I will be on the JMT for 35 days. at 8 miles a day. But I'll have time for lots of pics, as well as some paintings.

The switchbacks into Sierra City just after Jackson Meadow was where I had "An Eagle Beat Me Up, and Take My Hat", back in '05. I loved the transition into Sierra City. The vegetation change was pretty interesting. Great video. I little odd watching Squaw Valley to Sierra City while you're doing Stehikin to Canada. Love the videos.
