Looks very cool! I never thought a new merc could be created. The opened up gear capabilities because of no (as much) need for Reapers Toll and others could certainly be fascinating.

Very nice merc for sure. Does have some limitations, but with the small changes they made after the beta footage, the merc seems even stronger now.

I haven't noticed the same amp cool down, he seems to cast it whenever there's a group of like 3+ that doesn't have amp damage, and keeps it up on bosses

They upgraded the cast-rate for amp damage between the closed and open beta, so it seems to be a bit better now. Very happy that the closed beta testing actualy works!

A4 merc is very strong on summon/strafe zon early on. Just got my open beta zon to hell and it solid. Survives very well with 3 decoys and 2 vales serving as meatshields.

Very cool video! Summon druid could possibly be one that keeps the a4 merc for good. Pride weapon, tmight armor, beast on the druid, and amp casted.

Presumably spell damage and +skills, but im not sure its worth to neccessarily boost the damage of this mercenary too much. its a early game merc, so keep the cost on this mercenary low, until you have good enough gear to reroll a different and more powerful merc.

Stygian Pike is better. The average damage is 30% more (130 vs 101) If you can get 105 IAS on Styg Pike you are doing about 15% more average dps. Jab (2 attacks) Mancatcher 102 IAS for 8 frames. Stygian Pike 105 IAS for 9 frames.
