@@hdmtestacc There are a few ways, but i find the smoothest to just be whirlwind. Id get a easy to obtain weapon, like an obedience. 5os cryptic axes are relatively easy to get. any kind of elite weapon like ariocs needle, hell slayer would work well as well with 2 or more sockets in them. Some of the rest of the gear translates from ww to bow, like string of ears, LoH highlords and gores

All if it works, but you need to keep in mind the attackspeed breakpoints. hellslayer also means no shield, that could be impactful.

Its up to you, some prefer the beefier merc, others prefer the vigor aura. both work just fine. However for me, i dont think anything is stronger than act2, with pride and templar, and then you self wield a beast axe. you get amp + decrep + fana + conc + might

Id say, add amp with atmas+ar bonus rising son doesnt add much, with raekor virtue to both up fissure and ww damage. We the fire rapture barb

You could argue that rising sun doesnt add an awful amount, although. We are playing a non-eth weapon, the physical damage here isnt amazing in the first place. there is also flat elemental fire damage on the rising sun, not just the -8% fire resist. Besides, i honestly dont know if you can have amp and lower res procc at the same time, without them overwriting eachother. in any case, i think 8% increased fire damage + the flat damage is more damage output than the occasional amp procc with a bad weapon for phys damage. It would be interesting to see the difference.

i think its sad that pure golem is 100 points build and it dosnt really give u anything good besides some golems most builds are 60 or 80 points and have at least one usefull synergie that gets u some defense or somehting. i dont really understand the hype about flame golems ? you have kinda good gear and infinity AND its a cow map are ur like 120k dps witch is not much for a aoe build and thats with infinity and lower res wand etc. that gear gonna cost alot so without all that u gonna do waaay less damage.

@lolleonlolable the dps meter isn't really actually the end all be all for efficiency for a solo mapper. Fire golem is also a build that the scaling at the highest gear threshold puts you over the edge for one shotting mobs. Obviously there are many different ways to play a build, and this is no *flame* to futurereal, but if he wanted to maximize the speed of fire golems, there is quite a bit he could do. If you are willing to do a bit of snapshotting, you can get +12 to fire golems just from a weap swap to +3/+3 wand and nec head. You can run Phoenix shield, and get a really short blood warp, and just teleport around 1 shotting literally everything. Personally, I like going 20 revives, getting council revives that cast hydra, which finishes off stragglers. But full trangs is a nice safe, cheap, attainable option to showcase. Fire golems are sick, and they look awesome, and there's like 20 different ways to play em haha

DPS isnt a good measure, because it variest depending on the density. if there is 10 creatures or 100 creatures on your screen, the aura does the same ticking damage, but the DPS will be 10x more. These maps arent even corrupted or rolled for density, so id urge you not to even look at the DPS meter. its irrelevant. if the build clears the screen with relative ease, the only thing you need to do is make sure youre running maps with high density so the build can operate effectively.

bow barb seems to work just fine. the talent never worked during the first week of the beta test, so they just reverted the ranged mastery talent to throw. Im assuming they realised they didnt have time to fix it so they just put it on ice for now. maybe for a later season they will implement it properly.

I will never forgive the devs for ruining the sound effect of corpse explosion. They overlaid this loud and dumb, "whoong whoong whoong" sound over what was the best sound effect in the game.
