In this video, American pilot Oliver Hamilton finally sees success in the skies over No Man's Land, requesting to go on a dangerous balloon busting mission to jump start his fledgling career. He also comes across German scouts over the front during his second patrol and a quick dogfight ensues.

I think you don't need to spend a prestige point at 2:00 to request a Balloon Busting mission because according to [6.1] you may volunteer for a Balloon Busting mission. I think requesting a mission by spending prestige points is most likely done to avoid the (dangerous) Balloon Busting or Ground Attack missions. Nice playthroughs though.

His 3rd Patrol downed the Balloon. His 4th Patrol downed the Pfalz D3a (separate sorties).

The campaign logs seen here are different than the ones in my box. Are they unique to Tabletop Simulator (which I guess you use to run this) or are they publicly available? The look a bit nicer than the standard logs.

was the downed German pilot captured? Or did he land near his own lines? If captured, Oliver and he could share a beer before the German heads off to the POW camp..... ;-)

@@kozzackkelt Well, since he was forced to make an emergency landing, he didn't get far. The rules say it's a victory if over the front so I assume he cracked up close to "our" side. 😉
