In the video, you have suggested encrypting multiple files in a folder by using the loop action. I am trying to use loop action but not sure how to pass the file path dynamically to the File Encrypt action object. Can you please help? It is a only encrypting the hardcoded file.

I want to extract PDF form fields & I have PDF Utils package installed. Just like Dictionary key for simple PDF there is pdffilename, pdfauthor etc any idea what will be dictionary key for form fields as I am using Read from fields command in PDF Utils package A2019? Any idea.

Could you please try with Dictionary key as form filed name from PDF? Say the Form field is CompanyName in the pdf, so Dictionary key will be CompanyName

To extract data from website, use the Action Capture under Recorder package and follow the below steps under Capture: To extract single element, select the Action as Get Property and Provide the Property Name which will hold the element name such as HTML InnerText. To extract a Web Table, select the Action as Get Table and assign the web table to table variable. Now, use table variable in the bot as per the requirement. Form Field Extraction was a great feature in A11 to extract certain feilds on a Structure Documents Suchas Invoice, PO's. Now, it is no more on A2019. To do that, i think we have to use IQBOT to extract Feilds for both Structured & unstructured Documents, because i see there are few Pre-defined Structured Document Types such as Invoice, Purchase Order, etc avaialble on IQBOT , which will extract certain known feilds automatically for each doucment type. Hi, I am glad you found my videos helpful. Yes you can use loop "Each folder in folder" inside another loop "Each row in excel data set" . The thing to notice is that the Inner loop, i.e. loop "Each folder in folder" will run based on the condition provided in Outer loop .i.e - "Each row in excel data set" For example - In the Outer Loop "Each row in excel data set" , if the field - "Loop Through" is "All Rows", the inner Loop "Each folder in folder" will run only for number of rows the excel. Please follow the steps and let me know for any query.

@@qualityassurancelab7764 thank you for your help, we solved the issue by removing the the main loop and add open folder command with counter variable, so that the folder will open and the excel command will be executed, and move again to another folder with the same sequence, now i'm facing another issue, i want to extract some data from an csv file to xlsx file, but after restart the execution the data overwritten, is there any other tool that can rewrite a variable value? can i use (variable value + 1) to move to next row before starting new execution?

As you said, I have tried the multiple PDF encryption but not sure how to proceed on this, because in the loop we select each file in the folder so here loop will iterate through the files irrespective PDF files or not. To the PDF encryption command how to can we pass multiple PDFs path as we have the option to set one file PDF encryption file path. Please help me on this Thank you!

Hello there. I have been following your videos and have found them very educational and useful to my work. I am having an issue with using IQ bot to extract unstructured data. Even if I am able to highlight the field correctly, it would not extract the data. Also when I send to csv file, on the data from one PDF files get extracted. Please help. Thanks and more power.

I was trying to highlight fields in the group whee it takes me to. I hae reviewed all the PDFs and saw the nto all data were correctly extracted. Also out of 10 PDFs, only 6 were successful.

I was disappointed to see they removed "extract form fields" from A2019. I'm guessing they're trying to push IQBot to do that sort of task. I did try and use OCR to pull text from a Pdf but it did not work very well at all. It sort of did but it was kind of buggy (I was trying to read from two different Pdf documents, with different layouts but the same basic fields). The A2019 "extract text" to me is pretty uselss since you'd just have to find a way to pull out the specific data from a text file anyway, which if you're dealing with different pdf document layouts instead of a single one could be a little more complicated. But maybe extracting text and THEN using the OCR method (open the text file in Notepad or whatever, use OCR to read from specific areas) might be a little less buggy. I'll have to check out that PDF Utils package that someone else mentioned.

Yeah, Extract Form Fields of A11 was helpful. You can also try working with IQ bots, it extracts the data in a proper manner and seems to be quite helpful to a lot of guys - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWqwaKmqq6eJi6s Moreover, Read Form Fields from PDF Utils Package works smoothly with zero bugs if the PDF is Adobe form or XFA form (I will share the video this week)
