Bro if you maintain in 50 to 60km speed range will surely maintain. But it would have been better if you maintained atleast avg speed of 90km speed. It would have helped many ev buyers and they will know the real range.. You have a couple of ev chargers from salem to attibele highway and you will not end up without charging points.

I was searching for a range test video in the past months, and I was happy to see this video. But when the speed limit was set to 50 to 60, I was disappointed. I have booked this nexon ev long range. After I take, I will upload a range test video with approximately 90km speed on the highway and give an exact range test so that it will help many ev buyers.

We forgot to put AC at 24 or 25, which is pretty normal. It reduces the range further. If charging infra is improved it’s totally viable, go do a DC charge in 30 minutes and get 150 km range

Hello Team, seems you're promoting tata ev's, Please give the reality to the customers / subscribers / viewers. 1. The seat capacity is 4+1: so you can use 5 person while testing. 2. Drive as usual speed, means 90-110 km /h based on the road and traffic condition, no one will drive as two wheeler speed. 3. Use AC while entire testing, 4. Use ECO mode in city, and advance mode in High ways. 5. Testing start time and end time. Please follow the above points while testing the real range of EV's, so it's is very useful..

drive at 50 - 60 kmph and still only achieve only 390 kms? That's too much compromise.. Its not even practical with range anxiety. For a relaxed driving, i would need to cruise at 120kmph with good power at the reserve for overtakes. And get 500km range is what makes it more practical. If i drive the same way in a diesel car, i would even get 35kmpl which would make EV not economical comaring to diesel.

Although we have to go to EV, they don’t provide value for money yet. Battery needs to get cheaper. My puny 1.3 returns 25 kpl or more at the same speeds with a full load. According to calculations you need to drive 1 lakh kilometers to get back 5 lakhs in terms of fuel cost. Basically 8 lakh in fuel cost at 1.6 lakh kilometres. And battery replacement costs just as much as you save. So waiting until battery tech improves giving us better value for money

Punch Long range with AC (22 to 24) in highway (50 to 80km speed) may give upto 250 to 275km. Nexon with same factors may give 280 to 300km.

50 to 60km speed is not possible in real-time. For 335km you guys drove for 13.5hrs. EV is good for city drive alone. We need to wait for good EVs in future to drive in highways. For now I am satisfied with my diesel car. I use to reach my hometown in 4 to 4.15hrs for the same 330kms.

For me , the critical points are 1 Ev should do 90-110 in higjways and be efficient, if not possible atleast the size of the battery should increase and price should come down 2 increase the battery warranty for more than 8 years , 8 years is too short for a long term user , 3 there is a requirement for limited number of dc charging cycle in a day , that infuence a battery life that requirement should come down , or tech should change 4 with the current setup ev is not for highway users or long distance planners. I would say its hybrid first and then evs , its a ever changing tech so right now its not for a first time car buyer or a long distance user

Warranty of phone batteries is 6 months or 1 year only. It does not mean you have to throw away your phone after 1 year. You can easily use more time than that. Similarly, 8 year is only battery warranty not expected life. Company will not give full life warranty because they will lose money.

@@Raviarun a phone battery for a OnePlus costs 1600 - 2500 bucks , i won't compare a phone battery with a nexons 8 lakh battery replacement cost , the problem is EV is being pushed without considering its economic viability issue in the long run. If you wanna reduce pollution reducing it by hybrids and then smoother transition to EVs
