Usually you can dispose it in a place where we won't stamp it, like under a tree or in a flower pot. Since you are putting it in soil, please make sure you are not throwing anything that is not environmentally friendly i.e flower petals will decompose, rice and the turmeric will also decompose or will act as food to insects. Do not add anything that will cause environmental issues to the soil. If you cannot manage it then just put a small turmeric dot to the plate and then keep the lamp on top.
