"Here we see, the ambient guitarist, in it's natural habitat... at one with nature, peaceful, serene." Attenborough (probably)

The lesser spotted ambient guitarist.

The most common way a guitarist builds a wall of sound is with distortion. Crank it up, set a power chord and hit those strings. Bill, on the other hand, gets a clean tone and some reverb and effects and builds another incredible wall of sound. This time, it sounds like organs and synths pads with their own, unique character.

Very nice thxns Bill. Can you tell us what software effects chain you would use if you didn't have hardware? Please.

I wasn’t aware of that before. I am a public bus driver and I got to tell you sometimes passengers seem to be drenched in some sort of cologne.

I was hoping that all the little forest creatures would emerge and sit around together enjoying the ambience. They obviously don't have good taste in music.

Love ❤ this, but I do wonder- 1. Why not add in a BOSS WL50 Wireless unit and free you and the guitar lead? 2. How are you powering the board ?
@chordsoforion2 ай бұрын
1. I don't move around that much, but if I did I would try out a wireless unit, 2. the board is powered by a Strymon Zuma and is plugged into a Bluetti battery: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKarpHaVqLaMqKc

I don’t have a clue either, but I notice that he might have an earpiece in his left ear. Therefore I am assuming that the sound is going directly into his laptop if indeed that’s what is being used to record. I am really a rookie so I have a clue as to what he’s using. Hope that helps.

Hi Bill, any reason you've ditched your trusty Morley volume pedal (little alligator I think?) lately? Did it develop a problem?
@chordsoforion2 ай бұрын
Nope. Still love it and it works perfectly. I tend to go between different pedals at different times.

Buy a Thermacell mosquito repellent device. It clips on to your belt and works amazingly! I use one when I'm outside all the time!
