With the unexploited wandering traders you were explaining, with 8 gunpowder every 24 hours that would take 3 hours per gunpowder not 3 gunpowder per hour, so it's even worse than what you said

Best case scenario would be perfect wandering trader every time. Meaning 8 gunpowder every 4 hours, which would make it 2 gunpowder per hour, so he was still wrong (unless he was hoping for quick wandering trader spawns.)

There's this thing in fantasy writing called hard Vs soft magic. It's basically ruleless magic(LOTR) VS magic with rules and is basically a science(WOT). End gateway shifting is one of the most fun exploits in the game. I've done it seven times so far in my SSP. I thought it was patched in 1.16, but if not, I may do it again.

3:34 What do you mean by '-> at best 3 gunpowder/hour'? Theoretically a wt with gunpowder can spawn every 20 minutes. So at best 24 gunpowder/hour could be possible. But if you assume that every 24 hours one wt with gunpowder spawns you get 8/24 gunpowder/hour=1/3 gunpowder/hour or 1 gunpowder every 3 hours.

9:38 end gateways put u on the highest block. I have an end gateway super low down (around Y=30) and it’ll put me up at build limit cus there’s blocks up there. This is also why it’s not suggested to add railings around ur end gateway cus you’ll just spawn on the railings and that can be dangerous if u just hold forward lol

He mentioned that in one of his last videos. Sadly it is not possible in peaceful. I believe it was caused by the shulkers not even firing projeticles, but I can easily be wrong about the reason.

The only problem with the end gateway exploit is that you have to keep breaking bedrock. Plus, the wandering trader despawns, and as you mentioned, it takes about 24 hours for an optimal trader. You also have to AFK near an end portal so you can transport it into the end without it despawning. 8 gunpowder gets you 36 duration 1 rockets, so it's not superior to use the wandering trader without exploits, but it certainly is less annoying and it is worth your time waiting due to the fact that elytra hopping exists, and you have a nether highway which is faster than an elytra.

@@grimtermite191 bro I knew they would fix it , I cleared a 16x16 bedrock floor, so one block thick completely flat , got a one of a kind floor I cannot replicate , plus all the above nether connection holes made on realm was crazy , really helped out , am glad fixed tho . Very broken if bedrock the hardest block simply removed , was abit OP

Hey mango why don’t you use the custom spawner snake flying machine thing that pushes a cave structure into unloaded chunks so it force spawns a dungeon with loot inside? Isn’t this also a feasible way of farming for gunpowder/bones etc? Idk if it still works but it would be pretty neat if it did, maybe there’s also an exploit since it’s peaceful to generate the spawner as a pig spawner?

just how many convoluted and strange steps have to be taken to make this exploit happen is BAFFLING like how on EARTH did anyone figure that out it's like how there are some foods that must be cooked only twice in order to be edible. cooked just once, or cooked three or more times, it's deadly. HOW DID WE FIGURE THAT OUT I really tried to follow cube's explanation but oh boy I got lost. I was especially confused about the "chunk population" by just placing blocks. does endstone not count as population? because later he said "I placed this endstone here to make it generate higher" ?? plus how the heck do you know where the end gateways are going to be generated in order to "populate the chunks"? wild stuff

I am super interested in how MC is coded to produce such advanced interesting mechanics; Can anyone recommend any resources? As a programmer I simply cannot understand how anyone could code like this either intentionally or unintentionally. Many game fans talk about the incredible happy accidents that produce code buggy is just the right way to produce an incredible professional scene. But at least taking MC as an example, it just seems like they coded everything in such an inefficient and complex way that I cannot understand how anyone could do it by accident, and the gameplay seems so advanced and complex that it is hard to imagine a genius so smart that he planned for this.
