In order to get a better iron supply, we shoot snow balls at villagers to get them out of bed and scared, so they would produce more iron golems.

Is it only cruel because no hostile mobs are involved? Iron farms in other difficulties scare villagers in other ways, and hostile mob farms also always involve killing a lot of them. Getting kind-of tired to read this.

Gnembon's philosophy is: If you use TNT duplication in a resource farm, you might as well just duplicate the resource you are farming. That's different from using TNT duplication to just make a big hole in the ground. In this case the snowball farm uses a TNT duper, so by this logic the snowballs would have to be considered duped, and consequently the iron must be considered duped as well. This is especially relevant in peaceful, where gunpowder is as badly renewable as sand.

I also like CraftBook's implementation. It's kinda easier to use (it remembers the configuration), but it also uses more items -> items are not filled evenly, and I'm not sure if I could swap one recipe for another.

@@sempervelox I'm in between of these two versions. I like the more gentle introductory learning curve of Craftbook -> anyone can get started with very simple, one-component recipes. But I like versatility and being more in control of the version ilmango uses. I think the combination of the two would be perfect! It would be easy to get started but hard to master.

I was about to comment that really is a paceful farm because they don't do Heart damage the snowballs, and the snowmens don't get hurt. After i saw the golems.

@@jitiroyacamg804 If you're not limited to Peaceful, you can get iron nuggets from bartering with piglins. Which can be automated, but it requires gold. Which can be farmed in an automatic way, but it requires killing zombie pigmen :p

you could have used chunkloaders for the iron farm instead of bots. Is a little more vanilla. You could even hook the chunkloader up with the farm. When the chest is full, the chunkloader stops, when somebody takes something out of a chest, it starts again

I have instances where villagers on bedrock edition just randomly change which bed they want to go to. I had a villager apartment building with 4 or 5 floors so villagers would just stand under the bed the wanted on a different floor and look up or down. I gave up, removed all the beds in the end and scrapped the whole thing

Hey Ilmango I like the crafting thing and all but like I feel like if Mojang were to add it it would require stacks of items most likely as I think that it would end up (with repeaters for example) if you put a torch then dust then torch it would have 2 stacked torches on the 1 slot and 1 dust in the 2 slot.

i believe bats were held en mass at one point in an incredibly tiny area to take up the bat mob cap and prevent them from spawning elsewhere in the world. feel like i saw that in one of the mumbo tours
