It in no small part its due to training. Cena was trained in OVW which was a very old school approach to pro wrestling. Improv was traditional to pro wrestlers back in the day. "You've got two minutes to talk about this" and they would go out on live TV and pull something out their behinds for two minutes. Everyone says that Cena, very early in his training, proved to be extremely gifted at this. Its a dying art in the WWE sadly. Wrestlers are now trained and instructed to stick to the written scripts, which kills the spontaneity of a great interview.
