For me Ashley is just as good as Homelander in terms of acting performance, and sometimes even better. Homelander's character "development" looks organic and natural - he has always been like that, just couldn't show his true face. While Ashley's motivation shift from professional ambitions to the pure freaking primal fear is awesome. Homelander is the same, although he doesn't act the same. Ashley, on the other hand, acts mostly the same, but you clearly see that she will never be the same, lol. And her scenario, in my opinion, is more unorthodox and challenging in terms of acting.

8:58 A-train and Deep's face when they see Ashley without her wig. Full of shick meanwhile Homelander enjoying it with an evil grin.

I like how that even though everyone she works for could kill her very easily, the only one she's really afraid of is Homelander. And he's the only one who ever threatens her in a way that actually terrifies her.

I have a feeling the other Ashley is going to spill the beans about the Maeve coverup which will get Ashley prime merked by Homelander.
