I really enjoyed them too! Love the meeples with push on bases, as opposed to the piles of minis from the first game

This is a super interesting game and I might back it, once my concerns about the very limited amount of scenarios is put to rest. Will have to hunt for some more playthroughs to get an idea on how replayability will work out. Thanks for showing it and giving your impressions.🎉

I only had two to try out, but they differed quite a bit from each other. Like the video said, a lot of it is going to come down to your appreciation or lack thereof of achievements and challenges. For example, you can play the first scenario with a challenge where the ocelots start with tons of motivation and the macaws start with almost none, so you have to really protect them a ton while also not allowing their superior numbers to wipe out the ocelots. Completely different feel for the same scenario.

@@OneStopCoopShop I see. Thank you for this insight. This sounds very intriguing. Of course, this raises problems in itself. Motivated ocelots? Nothing good has ever come from an ocelot and certainly not from a motivated one. On the other hand, do I really wanna end as a bird nanny? I will probably have to house rule the entire game and cast those furs and feathers into grim darkness of perpetual war and destruction..... Behold the rise of the Mechanicaws......

🤔 not a negative.. i never ran into a game where you are playing to STOP a war that's currently going on.. game looka great.. and for like.. $60-$70 for the game, promo pack, and sleeves.. im in. 🤣

I haven't played the new version but I remember really liking Dale of Merchants and ordering this directly from Snowdale because they didn't sell it anywhere in my region. We really liked the theme but we got bored so fast. Maybe it's the play as many cards as you want that ruined it for us. But most of the time we were just examining the board and then coming to the conclusion that skipping the turn again was the right play. Not a very fun thing to keep doing.

Yes, that was a complaint of mine for the original too when playing with 3-4. I think it’s a little better in this version, but still mainly a 1-2 player game for me

It seems like the multiplayer is kinda forced in. The game mechanics scream "solo".

Like I said in the video, I think 2-3 player has some cool stuff going on, trading cards, splitting the armies between the players, getting cards that your character has a bonus on to you. But I personally wouldn’t want to play 4-player. It divides cards up too much between everyone in my opinion
