They felt stable and at home. The stuff with Snoop dog fels "trendy" and a bit obnoxious. I still think of Martha Stewart as the calm motherly like figure of the 90's.

I love this but does anyone know how to make this without a raw egg. That is my only issue with this delicious recipe.

yeah, no kidding. I don't want to eat raw egg in this day and age either. Way too many recalls and people getting sick. Where I live it is illegal for a restaurant to undercook eggs served to the public.

You can buy -- or make yourself -- pasteurized eggs; for example, "Davidson's Safest Choice". Their Web site includes a store locator.

seanviv2 I think the recipe would work just as well if you cooked the eggs and sugar over a double boiler, whisking constantly until light and fluffy

When you’re whipping eggs put the mixture on a double boiler and whip it up. Take it off the heat to add cream and peach mixture. In where I live it’s not an issue to eat eggs raw as quality of eggs are excellent. You can also buy pasteurized eggs.

What’s strange about it? This version of ice cream uses a whole egg and an egg yolk so that peach flavor comes out more than the mint or vanilla one she has in her recipe collection. Nothing strange about it at all.

@@maxlgbtlaw9221 I'm not an antique just yet- but after I had a child I actually DID h ave a milkman who brought and left milk and sometimes other things. Was expensive so couldn't do it often but I remember still, the racks he'd carry to the door with order. Milk in bottles too which were left for return. - in the 70s btw. Milkman was a dying breed by then of course. (SO YES M S certainly could have had someone delivering when she was young. Big raspberry to Keith :D

As if you had any clue about it…what a rude comment. A milk man is not an ancient history thing of course it’s possible a milk man brought her milk and eggs. I even remember my mom had milk delivered by a milk man and I’m in my 40s, almost half her age.
