It’s time for round two! This time, we wanted to explore the realm of single-cut guitars - while it’s all to easy to suggest a classic Gibson Les Paul as the definitive set neck rock machine, we stock a multitude of alternatives, ranging from equally classic and refined to modern and oh-so-playable. Here, we attempt to showcase the various differences & similarities, as well as give our honest thoughts on what makes each guitar interesting and unique.
For context, John is playing through a Friedman Dirty Shirley amplifier, while Jack plays through a Mesa Boogie Triple Crown TC-50. As you will hear, these instruments can cover a huge amount of ground, from delicate and classic to all-out blaze!
