@Peach Guitars, I want to use HX FX with a Blackstar HT Stage 60 which has 3 channels. In using the HX FX to change channels for all 3 channels on the amp, how do you set that up? I think I saw where you have to set up various snapshots to incorporate all of the channels and the effects in HX FX. Is that right?

Thanks for this very interesting video. I have a litlle question for you... I wish to control my hx effects with my old pod x3 live to start and stop some fx in a patch, use the expression pedal of the x3 to control wha or volume of a patch, and control the looper... I tried to use it with midi cable but only get to change bank preset. Do you think the X3 can control it and how? Thanks for the help Keep on rocking 😉

I tried using a fm3 4 cable method and the sound was considerably different and not for the better. Is this unit better for this? Thank you so much appreciate your time and I love your channel!! Just amazing!!!

so you only used one cable to amp switch channels or trs type 2 into one1/4 jack type cable? Or does you amp only a 2 ch amp? Mine has 3 channels so i assume id need the 2 into 1 type cable as well as using 2 blocks on the HX to be able to switch from ch 1 to 2 & 3 etc?

Do you know if I could achieve the following? 1. Footswitch 1 has a Delay+Chorus, plus sends a PC MIDI message to my amp head to switch to a clean channel 2. Footswitch 2 has no effects, plus sends a PC midi message to my amp head to switch to an overdriven channel?

after making the Hx effects switch my amps channel the effects after the fx loop in the signal chain dont work anymore. Anyone with a clue how to fix this?

Hi Is it possible to control the parameters of the delay with the expression pedal to get it to self oscillate and control it.

Does anyone know HOW LONG of a cable that you could use between the HX Effects and the AMP? My amp is in an ISO box pretty far away from the stage. Would love to be able to do this.

There is really no limit (other than practical ;)) because the signal is buffered. Only mic and guitar cables degrade signal considerable with length, as the source is passive (unless you use a guitar with active pickups). Just don’t use the ‘true bypass’ function on the HX.
