Ive picked up so many different acoustic guitars and nothing compares to a taylor. I love how bright they are and you can hear all the natural harmonics that come out of every note. You can play the same chord progression on martin or gibson and they wont sound anywhere near the same as on a taylor

Fascinating process. I can't wait to get my new '214 CE Plus' this week.

Thanks for this great video and it’s always a pleasure to hear Andy speak about guitars!

I’ve done this tour twice, Bob Taylor has flown to Martin guitars in PA. to help them improve their production processes. Notice Martin’s side bending machine, it’s the same one as Taylor was us 25+ years ago… a Taylor invention . On the factory tour, and showing the world, first hand how you do it, Bob’s theory is…if you can catch up with us - go ahead.

Hello everyone !👍 Can you tell me, please, what kind of piece Andy Powers started playing (7:39) and maybe it's somewhere in his performance on You Tube?

i was always attracted to Martin by reputation, I go with Taylor because of tone and feel. I can't put the Taylors down.... ** edit, craftmanship and beauty being more or less equal.

11:14 Yeah but Taylor’s all sound similar, I think it’s the V-class bracing. I don’t love it.

Honest opinion. I LOVE my OG 214 CE from 2004, has those crisp bell tones, & has the deep low end of a Martin. Also as a gigging musician I dig the bolt on necks for easier adjustment, but what has happened in the last 10-20 years? Quality is down, I can’t find anything in your modern line that has pickups that don’t sound like a cheap guitar patch, the playability is your biggest “Trump card” these days.. other than that.. don’t really have any artists I look up to still playing anything but a baby Taylor as a travel guitar. Even Sheeran has moved on. Don’t forget what made people pick your guitars up in the first place (because I couldn’t afford a Martin) Good day ladies & gents.

I see here how the frets in the guitar are mounted...I have BUILDERS EDITION 324 and a few from the new ones are cracked and many other errors...and you are only " sorry"...I paid for a NEW GUITAR!!!! Lack of honor...

massive difference??...nonsense...I have a 30 year old 914C..it's not inferior to the new V class fantasy in any way...these changes are subtle to the tone, there's no Andy Powers magic wand...

Taylor screwed up the 700 series and the 500 series big time.

this 314ce v spruce is too shrill, he's playing that mahogany for a reason.
