this song reminds me of a girl. we got together around the start or the pandemic. we spent two years running around like this, swimming in rivers, not worrying about a job or school or anything. we lived on our own and drank our wine and burnt our incense. i had the time of my life and sometimes im worried that might actually be the best time of my life and its now passed me. but that doesnt really matter, what matters is this song reminded me of that girl. i miss you marley

this is gonna sound weird but my last "pre-covid" memory was watching the premiere of your guys song black licorice right when it came out, it was right before i went to pick up my brother from college cuz they were shutting it down for quarantine. it was like the last 'normal' moment before everything went down (and i was totally gutted you guys had to move your tours and stuff). and now honestly this single and video feels like such a catharsis after all the shit that was 2020, thank you guys so much. peach pit forever 🤘
