I've had this song on loop for about half an hour and I'm probably going to be listening for a while longer. It's so catchy and it kind of shows some of the progress I've made. I left Christianity almost a year ago I can dance to this song without fear of damnation. I wouldn't be playing this in front of my family, but that's mostly because I don't want the conflict and drama it would probably cause. This song is great!

I grew up without religion in a religious town. I was openly not Christain since a child. I was bullied for it, told my family would go to hell. Kids would scare by telling me the rapture would come- the end of the world. I never understood. Why adults would tell kids this, thinking it would not hurt.

My mother believed you had to be baptized to be saved and they didn’t. I was 14 and my dad had just died. I wish I had had proof and taken her to court to lose her teaching license because no telling how many kids she treated that way. Religion takes over people’s minds and they act nuts.
