can you tell me what stable white glaze you used? Also, what is your favorite clear glaze?
@KaransPotsAndGlass Жыл бұрын
I used the Coyote white glaze- just their regular white gloss cone 6! My favorite cone 6 clear is also coyote- it is a gloss... and I just am a little sparing in application to prevent a milky or cloudy look that comes with too thick an application! www.coyoteclay.com/BuyCone6.html

You dipped the white piece in white glaze before applying the peacock glazes? Thank you so much for such a clear explanation of peacock glazing. I tried once and failed (fairly new to pottery). Will definitely try again, keeping your tips in mind! Thanks again!

Are all the glazes flux glazes?

no- the base white is stable- but on the bowl I show later- with robin's egg- that is a runner!
