Little incident where the wind changing mid flight caused rotor that caught me out. The Sea breeze at Swanage can do very strange things. A bit disappointing i didn't keep it open too, but least i landed smoothly. :)

Wow ! Nice reaction but the drop rate is insane ! Also, I think you was under the wind of the place where the cameraman is.

Can someone please explain how rotor was developing in this situation?

As Bastien Tararan pointed out, the wind was blowing over the spur the cameraman is on. I was beating back and forth with the wind square on, and on this beat, hit rotor as it had switched. :)

Thank you, Sebastian! It was difficult to determine the wind direction from the video. I'm happy you were not hurt!

sadly, not from the camera man

not agree. The rotor was pretty obvious here... And also too much break input at 00:33, you can see the wing start to stall, resulting in this massive sink rate to recover it's speed. The colapse only came from pendular effect, and it was also very predictable. I'm not saying that the pilot do everything wrong, the reaction time was good, and we can clearly see the pilot looking at the right place everytime, but for me a pilot under this type of wing should know that in this condition you need to make spacing to avoid the rotor. Clearly avoidable event.
