Peak Pursuit: Episode 5 - Coastal Ascent

On this weeks episode Kelly and Mitch head north to Newcastle for Coastal Ascent, race three of the Golden Trail Series, bought to you by Salomon. Once the team came to terms with their questionable accomodation and Mitch's subpar piano skills, it was go time. Starting and finishing on soft sand wasn't something the Victorians were used to, but the ever-changing terrain kept things interesting.
Mitch finished in 2:01:15 for 23rd position, still hunting that elusive top 20. Whilst Kelly made it look easy finishing in 14th with a time of 2:21:33. Hold onto your hats folks, it's just two days until the Golden Trail Series final in Brisbane.
