I would like to see more such melodies! For some reason when I play melodies of this kind, my violin start to sound clearly. Probably they are useful for me to develop a good tone.

Your right it's from Quebec. A lady from the early 1900's by the name of La Bolduque. I live in New Brunswick, Canada eh!!!!. Our fiddle jams we play La Bastringue often enough.

Thank you. To get those "lots of short notes", I think that I'll have to add some silicone spray to the keys on my melodeon. I need to cascade all three of four fingers across the key without them sticking. Seems odd that nobody does this, but I guess having slippery keys possibly helps playing. Something that dries slowly would also work, but I don't really know what else to use. Some kind of solvent. Great tutorial. loved every second.
