Brilliant mate. I’ve driven under that bridge loads when we installed the curtains at the new Lexington building on the docks(tallest building in liverpool!) That’s just by the Titanic hotel. I Had no clue it was in Capt. America!

Good video buddy and a happy new year to you and your family. Up until towards the end of 2020 the last time I'd been to Liverpool was in the very early 90's once for some shopfitting work and later to get the ferry to the IoM, and I must say It felt a bit grim. Now it's one of my favourite UK weekend destinations; It's certainly had some money spent on the City Centre and the Dock area and has scrubbed up superbly. My next trip there will be to find where my grandad was stationed early in WW2 whilst doing training and home defense duties around the docks, and to drop into the Western Approaches museum.

Cheers mate, I wanted to go to that museum when I was back but as always it was closed due to fecking COVID. I do love my home town man, and yeah your right it has improved a lot of the years.

Just to let you know the James Street red and white building was the White Star Line HQ that owned the Titanic, not Cunard. When the ship went down they read the names of the dead from the balcony there, because they were scared of retribution from the large crowd who had lost family on the ship. A lot of the men came from Scotty Road. Thanks for the great video!

Yeah I know, I realized what I said a couple of days later when I was editing so too late lol. Thanks for the comments though, I’m originally from Scotty Road, well Leeds Street to be precise, long since knocked down though.

Well like it says in the video, it’s a set on a working dock so it has to be removed every time then rebuilt.
