great to see this Oliver. Teaneck used to be a hoppin' place for indoor activities back in the 1980's. You need to revive this site! Get it cranking!!

Nice flights. We used to fly in the armory building at the University of Illinois. Very similar building. Wish we had access to an indoor site down here in Texas.

Impressive models and fantastic flights! You make it look easy, but those of us who have tried and failed know how hard it is. The max I got was 10s on a Hangar Rat and I think a gust of wind helped me. Great venue too! Pity I live half way across the globe!

Thank you. Lots of frustration in the process and I’m lucky to be close to this site. Great builds on your channel too. I think you will have more success if you stick with the rubber, for me half the battle was building lightweight and setting the correct incidence and center of gravity.

Hello, anyone could tell me how to do a camouflage covering on a WWII scale model? Can we print the cammo on the paper or should I use several diferent colors? High performance is not that much of an issue as they are Guillow's kits I use just for fun in the park and flying around memorials in Normandy. Thanks!

Amazing! As an idiot beginner any advice on how to make a plane fly in a slow circle like this? Im not an engineer nor intelligent enough for complicated answers! I only posess a passion to fly rubber band planes. Mine just go directly forward and then crash or climb fast and high, stall and dive even faster to crash! Any easy fixes to be recommended by the experts?

Thanks! Trimming these things isn't too bad, just needs a little patience but nothing too complicated. The process I usually follow is to first get a nice glide, usually with 2-4 degrees decalage between the wing and the tail (relative "up elevator"), balance with clay so the CG is between 25-40% back on the wing chord, and then use a little rudder offset for the glide turn if needed. For turning during powered flight, you can add small shims to the nose block to angle the propeller a few degrees toward the turn in the desired direction. Here's a good webpage that summarizes some trimming stuff: easybuiltmodels.com/tips.htm#gsc.tab=0 And great videos by Josh Finn and Tom Hallman: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rH3Pg4iPpM2cqK8 kzbin.info/www/bejne/lajGiImiocSKa7c

Do you know about the DC Maxecuters? They have contests in Raeford, NC. Here's a webpage with a list of FAC groups and contact information: flyingacesclub.com/wp/about-the-fac/fac-squadrons/ Looks like there's 2 squadrons listed for NC, not sure if both currently active but worth reaching out!
