I was so disappointed when he didn't finish the song. I really just want to hear him singing more now. I know he sings a lot, but most of the time it's more joke-y and only sometimes he shows his true singing talent. It's kind of scary how high the price for it now is, since I remember picking it up used for like $15 a few months before I sent it to you. It's too bad we didn't get the other games in the series over here, because I really liked doing all of the mysteries. We definitely need more good Animal Crossing-likes!

@@PeanutButterGamer As someone who's played all the sequels, I'd honestly say the original is the best of them all. The sequels all add some sort of obnoxious gimmick to each one, and in terms of non-gimmicky stuff, barely add any new content. Like, think the jump from Animal Crossing Wild World to City Folk, but even smaller. They have the same mysteries as the original, but try to shoehorn in the new gimmicks into said mysteries, like the ability to run your own shop. Also, not entirely sure why, but the final game in the series on the 3DS plays on the top screen instead of the bottom screen like the DS games. Super odd change tbh

For example, Hammy's full playthrough of Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love is easily my favorite game series that he did on his channel and that had to wait nearly 10 years after its original release in Japan to get the fan translation.

Of course, it means you also have to smell yourself too, which, if they threw in some other mechanics, could be interesting. Screw with the directions, make you speed way up, etc. Like you were delirious or trying desperately to get away from it as well.

Fun Fact: Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure feels so good to play by comparison to a lot of other Tony Hawk ripoffs because it’s actually running off of the same engine as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4, which Neversoft themselves provided to the devs, which is neat. Also it’s apparently made by the devs who would go on to make the Crash N-Sane Trilogy, and be ported to GBA by the devs that would go on to make the 2020 THPS 1+2 remake. It’s a small world after all, huh…

Even in the modern day, his videos seem to feel vintage, but in a way that they never age. They feel like nostalgic videos from like the early 2000's to me, it might be because some of the older videos that I used to watch are from that time and I have that association. Idk. He could do a futuristic theme and talk about futuristic games, but it would still feel familiar and nostalgic to me. It just feels like it's at the core of his content. Idk how to describe it much more than that, but I believe that it feels like, coming home from school and watching cartoons on cable for a few minutes, being sick and watching it all day, or watching it for quite a bit on the weekends. Not that his videos make me feel sick, but just the homey feeling of being able to turn your brain off and having something to distract from whatever pain you are feeling that day. I know you have probably heard this and other praise too often, but thank you Peebs/Austin. You were part of my inspiration to make videos on my channel, and, even though I am not popular and don't upload very often, I'm still really grateful.

Expanding on that: she's an urban legend from the 1950's, basically their equivalent of Bloody Mary; according to the earliest variations Hanako's the ghost of a girl who died in a toilet stall from an air raid during WW2. That's also why she's dressed that way, it's an iconic fashion of the era she's from- Neko Musume wears the same outfit in Gegege no Kitaro, an IP just as old. Hanako's not even the only restroom-bound horror, but probably the most avoidable of them since she basically has a fixed location: the 3rd stall of the 3rd floor.

Holy cow, someone actually talked about Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure! That's unironically one of my favorite games. It's janky and glitchy and doesn't make any sense, but is actually a ton of fun. The character customization is solid and the single player campaign is pretty fun. The Disney levels are great and Olliewood is incredible. King of the Hill is so much fun to play and the early '00s soundtrack is a blast to listen to. And yes, watching those characters crash in hilarious ways is a joy.

Honestly one of my favorite "ripoff" games is Pac-Man World Rally. It's obviously meant to cash in on the karting craze that Mario started and Crash Bandicoot followed but it's a great game with some unique ideas that seperate it from being Mario Kart but with a different theme. The other good one being Sonic and Sega's Allstars Racing Transformed. Amazing Kart racing game. Although I do have to wonder who at Sega thought they should make a Mario Kart clone when they already had the unique Sonic Riders series happening. Another game in that series would be great.
