Allen Vrabac Typical youtube dick comment. What are you babbling about..., the crowd was cool enough to check out an unknown band. I bet they enjoyed the set as well and bought the record when it came out. They can say they were there and all you can comment on is about how clueless they were. Apparently they were not.
@allenvrabac48279 жыл бұрын
TrixiLovesYou You are reading it completely wrong, skewing the tone of my sentence. I bet the lot of them liked it, I'm just saying how huge they later became to be and yet these people are witnessing them in their infant stage of infamy, bands from "around the block" so to speak. Just a fascinating perspective, nothing negative about it.

Just an off hand observation. Layne headbanging and then going right into vocals & Jerry headbanging and playing guitar at the same time. I've done some headbanging at concerts, and just staying upright is hard, as you get a bit disoriented (ive fallen over!). So the fact these 2 are able to do what they do while flailing around, is EPIC.

Lol.. yes, I absolutely agree. I am forever stuck in the '90s music. I was born in 1964 so the same age as most of these guys. Saw them at small venues way back in the day actually about this time of this video. Originally from Houston and there are some really cool small seater venues on lower Westheimer right before you go actual downtown. There's an area e called The Curve which is exactly what it is it's where Westheimer curves. Lots of cool bars and shops. Great night life. Saw Pearl Jam at The Vatican which is now called The Abyss. Saw L7 and Henry Rollins same place. Got to see Hole at a place called #s (Numbers)... it was their second album came out that broke them mainstream. God she was so messed up and was walking around the back alleys. They said it took like several shots of whiskey to get her straight enough to perform. It was Halloween night probably in 1993 guessing. They didn't get on stage until after midnight. We were afraid they were going to cancel the show. It was definitely worth the wait though.

43:30 - the lights man is distracted, therefore the cameraman gets distracted hahah, have you noticed that in every live show recording of Layne's era Dirt seems to get cut in some part mysteriously, cursed song, cursed album?.

There you go! Finally I found a concert where Eddie sings Once as it is in the studio version.

The one and only time I ever saw Alice in Chains was at Lollapalooza (1993 Philly) and I will never forget it. I watched the show from atop my then-boyfriend's shoulders and never saw so many bodies flying through the air at a show. The audience looked like popcorn popping. It was insane.
