There's a girl somewhere in the world who broke Eddie's heart, and she probably lived her life with no idea of the lasting impact of what she did. On the other hand, this song stands as a witness to a love and loss story that we've all experienced at some point. I played this song at my Mom's funeral in March. This was her favorite song along with Alive. This has become the MOST precious, important and extremely powerful song in my entire life... She passed away on February 27th... I'm still not over it nor do I think I ever will. She was my whole world, the reason why I got up in the morning, why I even bother to breathe. The world has become so dark with not a single beam of sunshine... It's all black.... I miss you so fucking much Mom! I hope I'll be with you soon! 🌫🖤🌫🖤🌫🖤🌫🖤🌫🖤🌫

This song was just so perfect for that moment, and I’m instantly transported to that intense time when I listen to this, especially when the ending lyrics hit, because he broke up with me a bit after that. : / Girls were throwing themselves at him because he was very good looking, and I guess he couldn’t resist. The gut-wrenching finality of lost love; the wreckage that is left behind and the realisation that they will shine their light onto someone new. We've all known it ❤️

This year was the first time I tried listening to some of PJ songs. This one is now one of my fave ballads. The vocal is strongly stunninig and I love when the guitar and piano collide for the climax.

I never realized just how much I listened to these songs when I was younger until I listen to "Ten" now. I can pick out choruses and beats that instantly teleport me back to long truck rides to wrestling practice with my dad. Thank you mom and dad for exposing me to such beautiful and moving music. Love you both ♥
