There were others too in 90s; I don't know where they were from. I am from India. The others with musical and lyrical brilliance - Blind Melon, Toad the wet Sprocket, Push Monkey, Dream Theater, Ugly Kid Joe, Radio Head Smashing Pumpkins, Suede, Stone Temple Pilots, Temple of the Dog, The Black Crows, Duran Duran, Saigon Kick, Spin Doctors.... etc. I have specifically not included the names like Guns n' Roses, Deff Leppard, Extreme, U2, Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, Sting, Van Halen... etc. May be I shouldn't have included Dream Theater and Duran Duran. About Saigon Kick, I am not sure. If this much beauty and intensity of 90s could reach and touch to some guy from backwaters state of India then, imagine how deeply it would have kissed the west. I understand and agree about Seattle, but there was much more in 90s, from various regions. In a way, it was pinnacle of what started in 60s, and then it abruptly vanished off the scene before 2000. I miss it so much. I was in my teens then... in 90s. And I think I am in fr4aternity and love with everyone else on the planet who experienced that richness and depth, and reminisces it.
