I always love to see the different reactions to this masterpiece of a performance. In my opinion the greatest live performance I've ever seen. The raw and incredibly deep emotions Eddie feels and the importance of this song personally is something that sticks with me forever. That being said when you pause a song like this so many times it keeps from actually feeling the performance and getting in deeper. But I still enjoyed your reaction and I like how you take some of the criticism cause most times it's nothing personal and you seem to get that and that's really cool. Wish you the best, I know this was a year ago and lots of views later so kudos on the success.

Kinda sensed a lack of appreciation and even a tiny bit of disrespect towards Eddie and how we was pouring out his emotions on this song and she was laughing n making remarks on some nonsensical stuff, the giu's hat n Eddie's facial expressions, which btw I had never heard anyone else doing reaction mention, we all seen it but nobody says anything because we all get it.

@@scottderechinsky9896 I know but I’m talking when to pause, not about not pausing at all. Pausing while the singer is still singing is bad form. When they take a breath or it moves to a guitar solo or whatever, then pause. The More You Know: .....1) Not "80's hair... this was in '92..... 2) Any "faces" Eddie makes when singing is pure EMOTION.... He sings with his soul and wears his heart "on his sleeve" so to speak... Just watch how he is gyrating on the stool as the song progresses.... that's RAW emotion. 3) This is grunge, and it's what this sub-genre is/was all about.... 4)Eddie Vedder is the ONLY lead singer out of the "GREATS" of grunge still alive. All the others have passed due to suicide and/or drug overdoses. Pearl Jam is still on top of their game. RIP Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland and all the others who left too soon... Thanks for the music boys and good luck to you Kai on your reactions journey. Peace :)

I appreciate reactions where pauses are made especially on the parts that i like because it means that the reactioner noticed that part too..(but back it up a few seconds after that to get back in the flow) .. and Yeah have lyrics on hand, try to know what the song is about going into it... though it's also entertaining to see reactions where people try to figure out the song as they go, but I think it's better if you already know and you have the lyrics with you. @@kailamay2278 awesome! If you're into harder stuff, definitely check out TOOL. A band of trained artists that produce some really unique and masterful music. And they're a view and sub magnet, especially since their newest album was released a couple of years ago after a 13 year hiatus (the lead singer has two other bands, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer - you'll probably really appreciate A Perfect Circle). All of their songs are masterpieces (some truly are, some are just really fucking awesome lol). But TOOL's standout tracks (to really get an introduction to their style and skill) are: Vicarious, Right in Two, Jambi, The Pot, Lateralus (also an album title - look up the Fibonacci sequence relation if you're interested in geometry and nature), The Grudge, Ænema, Parabol and Parabola (two tracks that need to be played together), Fear Inoculum, Descending, Invincible (these three are from their newest album) - and honestly anything else from them.

@@kailamay2278 they don't sound like Pearl Jam but Maynard James Keenan, the singer from Tool / lead singer of A Perfect Circle is really talented, as are his band members in both of those bands (as well as his third band lol, Puscifer). All pretty different styles from one another. Danny Carey, Tool's drummer created Earth so He'd have a place to drum. Check out his Pneuma drum cam video on here. Chris Cornell too, his Soundgarden and Audioslave work is really unparalleled. If you make a video discussing these bands and ask your followers / other commenters to suggest their favorites from these bands you'll probably discover some new favorite songs / bands. :P

ur focusing on all the wrong things, the hat, the facial expressions.. why dont u try listening to the song without pausing a million times and appreciate the beauty of their art.. u dont get the full experience unless u hear ir all the way through uninterrupted

That was the point of the Unplugged sessions in the '90's. You played with no autotuner, and only acoustic instruments. Or you weren't invited to play.

Great video.... Don't pay attention to the haters... Your reaction was totally reasonable. I happen to think Pearl Jam is the best band of a generation, and I'm not offended by your laughing about the hat & whatnot... You weren't clowning the band or anything, you showed a lot of respect and appreciation overall. 👍👍

His performance was so emotional and he shows a vulnerability that is rare to see. When I see some of the faces I make when I sing I laugh. I guess I'm easily amused.
