This version is amazing. I've seen it live a few times and it is just so well done. Pearl Jam Live is insane period. The band sounds better live then a produced track. The flow of this song is just amazing. It makes me sad while listening to it but then when it is over I'm happy that I listened to it because it is so amazing. There is a version where he changes the lyrics to we don't belong together. He changed the lyrics for Rearview View Mirror too. They haven't been to my parts in a long time, so I don't know if they still do those things but I know they still never do Ledbetter the same way. They are just insane. Everyone of them are so great at their craft.

I loved this band before they became liberal sell-outs. I wore the flannel in the 90’s. Heroes of mine. Somehow, Eddie and the others became so wealthy, that they became EXACTLY what they purported to despise all those years ago. Freedom of Speech.
