He is not JUST a PJ fan. This album was released AFTER the events of TLoU, chronologically. So in reality Lightning Bolt was never released. Dracman specifically claimed that Joel supposedly heard this at a live performance on tour and learned it by ear. In TLoU's timeline, Joel and Ellie are the only people left in the world who know this song.

@@guyjobinguy no she hasn't. She hasn't lost him. She remembers him as what he actually is. A man, who's flawed, but loves her. Yes, she can't play guitar anymore, but it represents her leaving her hatred for joel behind, it represents her forgiving joel, and learning to love him again as the father figure he was. She left his guitar behind because she's leaving her hatred and need for revenge behind. She's learning to move on, and forgive joel and abby. She hasn't lost him, she's found him again, and she's found the real him, and is viewing him for what he really is. That's the opposite of losing him. This journey wasn't about losing him fully, it was about her discovering him again.
