I knew Troy was a singer in a band prior to taking acting but little did I know that Ashley wanted to be an Astronaut and even lesser I knew that Neil inflicted the actor's personalities in their characters of Joel and Ellie. This just gave me chills. Its like a never ending list of all the hard work that has gone into developing a masterpiece of a game. I had some pacing problems until the moment I saw those so called "problems" a narrative necessity. At least for me... And I tend to say that this game has two moments of lazy writing, how Abby finds Joel/Tommy and Mel in the battlefront... But besides those two minor things this game is bullet proof from a narrative perspective. And that's why the hate is much more restrained these days, once a debate starts and people questions the "not so valid" criticism, they normally hide...
