Hi. I'm really very happy to know that a representative of the young generations knows how to capture the atmosphere that existed in the 90s also thanks to grunge. Eddie Vedder's voice, their music was a turning point in the way of listening and expressing music. Even today those sounds give me goosebumps. And also a bit of nostalgia.

Post's a HUGE PJ fan, and just got to sing a duet with Ed for the first time at a fundraiser for Ed and Ed's Wife Jill's charity, where they sang Ed's "Betterman" together, and Post was absolutely starstruck throughout the whole thing, until Ed started singing one of Post's songs in the middle of it. That loosened him up and they had fun from there on out.

Old Pearl Jam "Fan" reporting in... who started listening to them in 1992. This band was many many years my favorite - although I always listened to very different stuff (Metal, even Thrash/Death Metal, but also House/Soul/Funk, many orchestra/film music, etc). I would suggest that you follow your own wish. Peal Jam - like many other bands - did A LOOOT music. More than half a dozen albums and on every there are a few great songs. They usually did power rock like Even Flow and Jeremy, but also ballads and some other stuff. You can take their recordings from record... or take one of the MAAANNNYYY live versions, cause they are usually a great live band. One of my recommendations: Rearviewmirror from Pinkpop open-air in 2000 (there is also a famous pink pop from 1992). This is such a powerful song with such a powerful version. Then there are songs like "given to fly", "corduroy", "you are" ... and so many more. In the end this is your channel - do what you want. E.G. you could try here and there a "medley" of one artist/band where you put several songs in one video.

It’s often overlooked but I think you’d really enjoy their performance of Jeremy from the 1993 MTV VMAs as well, especially since you seem to like the song so much. Check it out! kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZqwfaierdBlrbcsi=dRmJ_4eGC2SJs-Ix Also, my fave PJ song rotates regularly but consistencies are Fatal, Given to Fly, Go, and Hard to Imagine. Well Black also but you already know you need to get to that one. Give those a spin too when you get a minute 🙂

Can never hear too much Pearl Jam. I agree you need to see the Unplugged version of “Porch”. An incredible performance! And thank you for pointing out the fact that Eddie’s singing is naturally like that. So many people think he’s putting on a false effect, but it’s simply his natural voice. Also, his vibrato is much more noticeable during slower songs, or ballads. Something like “Come Back” live, from Verona, 2006.

Number 2 Eddie Vedder postpones U.S. tour until fall to heal nerve damage, this happened back in 2012.Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder has bumped back his U.S. tour plans by about six months so nerve damage to his right arm can continue to heal. The nerve damage is the result of a back injury earlier this year.

@@travzimmerman1340 It is always debatable however, "Alive" was certified Gold on both the Australian and International charts, and Silver on the UK charts. In comparison, "Even Flow" was only certified Silver on the UK charts, and "Jeremy" only certified Gold on the US charts. None of the 3 songs made it onto the Billboard Hot 100, however Even Flow spent 52 weeks on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, peaking at number 8, whereas Alive spent 61 weeks on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, peaking at number 7.
