I've seen this show a xxx times a few years ago !! I think 2006 was maybe the best year of Pearl Jam, seen from the beginning of their path, a peak .. Eddie was 42 that time .. then I saw a concert in 2014 and it struck me again .. Pearl Jam shows ruin you, you don't want to see any other any more ...

This is such a comfort to find this set again! i was at this festival, and was the first Pearl Jam performance I ever saw live, and to this day it is still one of the most emotive, moving, and beautiful sets they ever done. There was a couple of bits in between songs that were missing from the performance where Eddie was getting really choked up about the love the crowd was showing - hell, even I was crying during the performance of Crown Of Thorns! But to this day, the feeling in that crowd that night was something truly unique and something that only being there could truly capture. One of the greatest performances I have ever seen! :)

Quarantine and lockdowns have killed more people across the globe than Covid. 15 million extra due to HIV AIDS, 300k for tuberculosis, 1.6 million from cancer, millions more due to starvation, unemployment, overdose and suicide. Eddie is so commied and humble to peoples well being. It's incredible how Rockverder has changed him. I had the joy of meeting him in 2019, and I've never met a more humble human being in all my life. Even talked about meeting me at his show in the 3Arena in Ireland! Then I met him backstage that night! I was the Freddie Mercury he met! Mike who I've also had th pleasure of meeting in 2006 in Oz, was such a joy to talk to, great fun, had a great laugh!! Eddie is a true human being, a real warm heart, and a true idol to be held in account of humanity, as is his wife, and children. Please, if you ever meet him, you will be proud to meet your heroes. Guy is a heartbeat you want to hang on to. I have changed since meeting him.

One of the best reading sets ever. They are so tight and electric with so much energy. Liked the earlier grunge stuff, but since Vitalogy pearl jam has been like a mix of the stooges, MC5, and REM on steroids. A garage rock band basically, and I fuckin love it

@@bioof4 yeah and still the best what does that change? Matt can't play shit like Dave he's a good drummer but comparing these two... No one could play songs from Ten or Vs better than Dave
@802asher3 жыл бұрын
@@veru6907 You're feeding into the myth of there being some huge disparity between the drummers of Pearl Jam. What a joke. Cameron plays the Ten parts great, if not stellar. He has his own style, it's distinctive, and I personally like most of his fills better. He is a f'ing phenomenal drummer and rarely misses a beat. See "Why Go" near the end. As a drummer of 25 years myself and PJ fan for longer, I can't always tell the difference between Cameron and Abbuzzese half the time. If I can, it is because Abbruzzese throws some frilly little cymbal hit in there that is extraneous to the recorded material and doesn't really add any power or purpose. I find Jack to be much more distinctive in sound. Their both great drummers and both serve(d) a purpose. MC has just played with the band for like seven times longer than DA, so he must be doing something right! He is more a part of the band than DA and always will be. And he's in the Rock Hall with the band.
@veru69073 жыл бұрын
@@802asher i'm not saying Matt is a bad drummer, i love him, but i really prefer what the other drummers brought to the band he's good in songs he makes (so after 1998) but when he plays someone else's material it just sounds off for me i'm a drummer myself and i can always hear the difference and as to the hall of fame, better not talk about it because the fact Dave wasn't included is just very shitty, they gained popularity with him in the band
