Stuff I’m Meh About
This Is NOT A Module For Beginners. YOU HAVE To Read The 60 Page Manual Or Watch A Tutorial To Fully Know All The Features
There’s some noise on low velocity hits with some of the sounds
SSD4-5 were recorded on tape using vintage consoles, preamps and mics, some of the samples may have audible noise on softer velocities if you have Dynamics fader in Triggering Settings Curves tab set to low values. The noise is not considered a problem. It’s typical of samples recorded on tape because of the nature of the process. It’s part of the analog vibe and warmth in an instrument’s sound.
Stuff I Wish Was Different
Slight Lag (you stop noticing it over time)
Dedicated headphone/master/aux knobs (all done over software)
Price ($1750-$2200) Is too high
More Effects (Saturation/Distortion/Fazer)
Power Button Placement
Screen Could Have Been A Inch Larger (big bezels)
The Samples Can Sound Too Similar At Times
The Preset Kits Are Weak
Not Much In World Percussion (One Shots can be imported)
