I believe the best and most proper way of finding out if those lava pits are really just a trap is to buy the dungeon lackey and make him jump down there first. :D

Commanding him to jump in would be karmic justice, but you could try asking him as the lackey. He told X he would answer certain questions and I think that such a query would be answered. Lackey might also bring fire resistance potion. I was listening to X's lackey run while at work so I don't recall if he tried asking.

@@Fimbulvetr2012 I feel like asking tango if its a trap, or hides treasure, or is an egg spot, is equivalent to just having a lackey in a run and saying "tell me all the locations of hidden Easter eggs in this level". It would not fall under " Asking questions within reason".

Or use Etho's method in DO1, where he still tries to win the run but if he thinks he can't survive it, he will explore and sacrifice himself to find secrets so that the shard won't go to waste. Especially if clank is maxed and you think you can't get out, just jump straight in the lava pool😂

Honestly surprised when she decided she had no chance after having found the two that she didn't consider stashing them in one of the chests or barrels back in the room she designed. Heck, she could have done that and then guilt-tripped the next runner to bring them back for her (or at least leave them there for her). And if not guilt-trip, perhaps bargained to split them in exchange for another runner bringing them out on her behalf.

Who would complain? The game basically just launched, there are multiple mysteries and challenges still to accomplish so naturally it's DO2 time. Break from building is also refreshing. Hopefully DO2 will in result prolong this season of Hermitcraft. Especially since most Hermits did or are planning some vacations to have a break. Fingers crossed for a long season 😊

in a dungeon lackey run, Tango has potions - maybe you can get a fire res one to explore the lava pits? Maybe they lead below the room into a corridor where the piston area is?

Yeah Pearl, looks like you caught on towards the end of that first run, but none of your deck cards played. Only stumble cards did. Maybe if this bug occurs again, you could take the opportunity to check out one of the two lava pits upstairs since the run will be super low yield anyways. Keep rocking! Looking foward to more DO content and your base expansion.

I love that max clank is a serious threat now. 1st 2 weeks hermits were just chillin getting all the loot and just get the artifact at the end and then easily leave. But now, they are getting punished by doing this strategy!

Berry healing tactic: if you’re in a safe spot, eat berries more slowly to regen health. Each berry can heal one heart. Not the most exciting, but def most effective. Saw Hypno explain this in his last vid. We still have tons of faith in you!! 🍻

Possible trigger for Piston, maybe putting out candles in the room at the top of the stairs? Putting out candles can trigger redstone I believe. It's how Bdubs triggered the entrance to his towers basement

I dont think the piston does anything as of now, tango used to have plans for a stray in the ice pile that'd open with clank or hazard Also, i dont think tango would encourage players to punch out candles because their needed to stop mob spawns in some places :)

Yes, Tango changes the zoning from phase to phase. As you learned, the block zoning the Ravager into the TNT area for phase 2 were removed for phase 3. Yes, there was something to be found in the TNT lake. It comes up into a little space behind the pirate ship (where you say "there is something behind that wall there" in your level 3 run). Zedaph found it but died on the way out.

I'm %100 convinced that one of the buttons in the ice rotunda room opens up a door right next to the entrance. One of Ethos first runs, he mentioned that spot looked like a piston door and Tango was like "how does he know that just by looking?!"

I’ve been noticing in a couple Hermit’s runs that the seems to be a path leading even deeper into the water in the depth charge room. I don’t believe any Hermit has explored it completely and it might lead to an Easter Egg.

1:35:50 the artefact could have been by the spider area, it is right above the chain shuffle bridge and there is a confirmed artefact spot

Quick Warden tips: 1. They can only smell you if you're within 6 blocks of them (horizontally) 2. They can only use their ranged attack if you are within 15 blocks (horizontally) 3. The darkness effect means you are 20 blocks away from them 4. It won't attack you with sonic beam if you HAVE made noise in the past 10 secs (It will continue to chase tho) 5. Probably a good idea to throw spare items to distract them (Possibly off of the bridge)

Pearl, possible Easter Egg, 1:35:30 in your drip stone lava room on level 2, theres a berry bush with a trapdoor, flip up that trapdoor and crawl into that 1 block tunnel.... :) Unless the trapdoor doesn't flip that way but totally worth a shot

Run #11: Your compass was pointing to the artifact location at the spider lair vine climb to the left of the berry bush. You were right at it, but turned to die at the lava parkour.

1:23:30. Well uh, funny thing about this was I commented on one of Cub's videos that that powdered snow looked suspicious and could potentially have hidden a passage since the player could fit in it. I have now learned it's a hole.

I gotta say you're awesome and I know it's stressful in the moment. I just gotta say when you're in that position and I've seen it with so many hermits now. Don't be afraid to just throw your compass down and if you miss just pick up on another run. You ran OVER the drop off point 5 maybe 6 times and each time you didn't even have your compass ready to drop. And all those possible chances were instead just burnt up hunger and clank that you didn't have spare. Don't blame yourself though the preasure is intense when you're on those last runs we can see the shaking XD

was a rough day or 2 or 3. btw... 2:01:01 exit was to the right. that's why tango build the "shortcut", to bypass the river of souls. the ravager in the crypt for sure was a weird one. there was nothing there at 2:00:55. 15 seconds for it to appear outta thin air. was it the downstairs one that tracked you thru walls and floors? the one on the top floor is zoned in. that's weird.
