Your base looks straight out of a storybook. The protagonist found this… deserted alien grove and to make sure the alien species thrives to “beautify” the land, you, the hero and *very* creative protagonist builds the landscape around to help it. Ah! So creative and lovely.

This was the most incredible and ludicrous Decked Out run i've ever seen, the stars freaking aligned for this run, starting with the Lackey Run, getting the Rusty Repair kit, the successful speedrun to the Burning Dark, getting the MASTER'S KEY OF ALL THINGS, getting jump boost again to get over the wall, successfully escaping the Burning Dark and the Black Mines without any issues, loosing Tango along the way but getting his stuff to help you, then making it out of the dungeon completely, without max Klank being activated, having the Deep Frost card being pulled of all things, and then THE RUSTY REPAIR'S LOOT PAYING OFF BY ALLOWING YOU TO BUY IT!!! THAT'S NUTS!!! Also amazing changes to your base, love the terrain!

Maybe for the ravager in front of the sculk cart, you could ask Tango for one of the ravager costumes! Then obviously if you put it on an invisible armour stand I presume it’ll look like a ravager just standing there :D

Gawd, the thought Pearl puts into the landscaping of her base. Wow that's amazing. When she's talking about the side with Tango's base ( 12:00 ) I couldn't stop smiling. That view is crazy and Pearl's framing of it is genius.

with you mentioning wanting a longer render distance, you could achieve that by installing the client-side Bobby mod like Docm has, it saves chunks you have rendered locally and allows them, as far as you locally remember them anyway, to render in farther than the server view distance

This is some truly incredible terraforming, it's so bizarrely beautiful! I love how well this just ties the world between your base and decked out together, and I'm so excited to see the rest of it develop! I particularly love the sightlines you've created with the shape of the terrain as you walk the path, the view of Decked out, and Gems base, and your own base as you go though the different arches and canyons is just magical. Well done! Also, to address what you were saying about wishing you could render the decked out castle more as you were walking down the path, I'm sure others have suggested it, but Doc and Scar have been using the Bobby mod, which allows your computer to very quickly render cached versions of chunks outside your normal render distance, without being that taxing on performance. And especially for things like this, I think it could be what you are looking for :)

That terrain is fantastic. Part Dolomites, part Iceland, part alien. It reminds me a bit of when games went from Doom to Quake, in that overhangs and full 3D design became more fully realized. You're giving bog standard Minecraft terrain extra dimension that isn't often seen outside of weird Amplified places, but much more sculpted. Your mastery here isn't just in making the color palette more interesting, it's in making the *space* more interesting, and that matters. It looks very, very good, and it's great to see your sightline and composition considerations in play. You and Scar are great at this sort of thing, and it's wonderful to see. That was a really fun Decked Out run, too. Thank you for sharing!

🤔 Since you asked for cave/overhang suggestions….maybe plant nurseries? Baby sentient plants, that is. Your two large plants you built firstly up top look like they’re walking along, talking with each other….sentient and mobile, in fact. Maybe the younglings occupy nurseries/schools under those overhangs? Can one build with mini blocks, or do they still take a whole-block space? Maybe shrunken armor stands could work? It’s a bit of a puzzle. Hmmm….skins made to look like those flower heads? Then getting those heads by dying and dropping them for use on armor stands….you’ve already got 3-D models for two….Or there’s the carved pumpkin model option….put a flower head on Tango’s tree-ish 🤔😁 Just airing options for tiny versions of those 🌸 flowers.

The intricate shaping alone makes your alien landscape feel like a complete piece even before you add in any life. It made me think of shifting sand displays, or the more rounded and spiralling concepts of alien architecture in old sci fi depictions. It's close to natural and yet slightly eerie and uncanny valley and beautiful even in its most basic form. The details to your rounded shapes make it feel like it doesn't even need anything else, even when being shown the contrast of completed landscape that somehow looks even better. There's so much intricacy and love even at a distance, and the tour of the smaller details only further cements that. The work you put into this stuff is incredible

Yay more base building! The Soup Group area is by far my favorite part of Hermitcraft this season, you all are doing amazing. It's so nice seeing you and Gem in a full length season of Hermitcraft! Don't get me wrong though, I love everything else you've done outside of you're base as well Pearl. Keep up the awesome work!

Pearl for rendering, you should talk to Doc and inquire about the Bobi mod, it extends your render distance by heaps without straining your computer.

Pearl! The landscape is beautiful! I can’t even begin to describe how spectacular it is! And that Decked Out run was one of the most exhilarating runs I’ve ever seen! Thanks for making this video Pearl. It was such a treat!
