My problem with shmups is I can't see anything. Enemy bullets just blend into the background, even if they're bright pink like in other shmups. My eyes generally just hover around my ship so I can dodge all the bullets and because bosses are generally so big I just shoot in their general direction without looking only checking where they really are when I get a break between patterns. It's such a sick genre that I keep trying to understand them better but my progress has been slow.

I generally try to have my viewpoint be a few ship sprites above myself, this way I dodge via peripheral and I get more time to plan my inputs ahead of time.

If you try to micro dodge with the original settings you'd lose all your lives by Stage 2. You got no choice but to bomb if you want to survive bosses and once you run out it's credit feeding time. You exploited a cheat. Admit it. Don't worry SFKhoa isn't gonna go to your house and throw eggs at your windows.

I've been playing this game since the Jurassic period and never gotten past the first few enemies. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of honor who doesn't succumb to the temptation of using illegal cheats in these classic shooters. It's pretty obvious too. If you mean the very beginning? Point your options downward to take out the gunblimp without spawning additional medals! The mame border is from someone named Laura, I'm not sure where you can find it, but I can provide it to you if you'd like; there's already a modified rom called the "Zakk Rom" that shows rank ingame that you can find
