I'm presuming that the info screens in the cockpit really don't fade in and fade out all the time like that, it's probably some quirk between the display refresh rate and scan rate of the camera...

Affirm. Unless you set them to full bright, they go in and out on camera. You dont notice otherwise. I think this video was recorded before i figured that out.

Wish I knew you were coming. I fly out of KPSM all the time. I suspect you went to Port City Air vs. the ANG ramp? Most transient military birds park on the civil side. We see lotsa Herks these days. Marine, Navy, AF, Guard.....seems to be a popular stopover.

Whenever its really windy there, it is very rarely down the runway. Always seems to be 290*.

We just take missions when they get assigned. We don't often get trans oceanic missions in the Herk

They're flight suits. Just two piece OCP flight suits. Very similar layout as the green/tan flight suits. Just more utilitarian.
