This recipe originally came from a Pillsbury bake off recipe book in the 1960's. I have been making this pie since I was a kid. Great Thanksgiving dessert.

Well it's been over a month and I never told you that I made this pie for Thanksgiving. 😁 I took it to the second of three dinners my sister and I were invited to. But I was so full from dinner that I just took a piece home. My sister and I really liked it and the family I left it with really enjoyed it too! 🤗 I've made so many of your recipes and now when I make something new, my sister asks if it's a Catherine recipe. 😋 I often share your recipes with my sister and also good friends. 💝 You always make good dishes with items that are easily accessible, easy to make and taste great! You're also a great teacher. You provide good instructions and good options.
