I'm an oldster and Bob's voice reminds me of Paul Tripp the host of the 1960s children's show, "Birthday House" out of NYC. Eventually, I'm getting the E3600LFP. Currently, the Pecron website says that the next batch is shipping out in late September. Is that the 2nd or 3rd batch now? I'm curious if they fixed the line breaks in mid-word with no hyphenation on the touch screen. Does anyone have experience with Pecron's solar panels in terms of quality and ACTUAL output? Thanks! Great videos.

we got the 2nd or 3rd batch I think... It is really hard to keep track of what number they are on because they do not have numbers...lol We got 704 watts out of 2 older versions on the PV300 in series. we are still testing the new PV100 that we have. And I don not understand what you mean about the line breaks....

@@RamblinBobReviews Sorry. "line break" (typesetting term) is how a line of text breaks to the next line because there's not enough room. For instance, at :32 seconds here, you can see how the text in the squares just continue to the next line. They shouldn't hyphenize either- sloppy. They should either reword these so it takes up one line of text or use two lines but put more than one or two full words on the second line. Don't put a few letters from a part of a word on the second line all by itself. Looks bad. So they didn't fix it in the 2nd or 3rd batch, so now I'm guessing it won't be fixed in the late Sept batch. Maybe they think it's fine the way it is! I wonder if this can be fixed with a firmware update? Thanks for the other info! Love your granular/detailed info on this unit. Looking forward to your future video updates on the E3600LFP!!

The app worked for 2 days for me with no problems then is stopped working. Now it is a hit or miss if it works. Reset the wifi multiple times and it might work once then stops working the next time I try. Pecron needs to fix the app!

Yes, we agree that pecron needs updates to their app. we have been saying this for months now. It does work for us every time we use it, but we have it on a samsung galaxy s5. P.S. We are so glad that this system has this touch screen with everything on it that we would ever need. but they do need updates for more people's phones it seems.

YES, their APP is work one day, then wont next day, I guess we get what we pay for.

Hey Bob Can you cascade up two 3600lfp’s together ? Can you cascade three 3600lfp’s and two 3000 48volt units all together ??

I guess that you could plug the charging cable into a second one and run the first one in UPS mode. (you could run as many as you want that way i guess) e3600lfp -----> e3600lfp (UPS) -----> e3600lfp (UPS) -----> e3600lfp (UPS) that would be a 60,000wh centipede (lol) I would just split the load and run 2 or 3 units side by side for 120v ;) When you officially put them together with that special cable, the system becomes a 240v system.

We did it with the e2000lfp -----> e1500lfp (UPS) for a week 2 things we learned..... 1. You want to stop the e2000lfp from getting too low battery capacity (bad for the battery cells) (we stopped it at 20%) 2. And we got less battery capacity than running both systems separate ;) (you have to account for the extra power lost because the e1500lfp is running in UPS mode) Long story short....Just split up you load and run 2 or 3 different systems for best 120v results :)

My first couple days with this unit and connecting the app, I was able to use the app to monitor and turn power on or off and be away from the house. But recently that seems to have stopped. It now only works when I'm at home connected to the wifi. Isn't the purpose of the app is that we can be away from the house and use the app?

Have not tried away from the shop with the wifi yet, the most we have tried is in the back yard to see if we can control if from outside. We believe that pecron needs some updates with the app. we have heard some of the scribers saying that they were having some problems with there phones as well. I am still testing this feature as we speak to gather more infomation.

Where the heck can I find a 30A charging cable??? It’s not listed on the Pecron site!

Not yet, They are giving them away "FREE" to anybody that buys the e3600lfp as a bonus. We just have to wait a little while longer for it to be listed on the website :) P.S. That is how we got ours :)

Is it even possible to update the firmware using this app in the event Pecron wants to update or tweak their touch screen interface or layout or update anything else? I would love if they formatted the text more thoughtfully in the touchscreen's buttons and menus- looks sloppy. I emailed Pecron about this. Thanks.

The app is able to update the firmware if there is ever any updates. P.S. We love the layout of the touch screen right now :)

They put them on the warranty paper or bottom/back of the unit, e3600lfp does not even need one, it hooks right up on the first try. the QR code in the app was used for the e1500lfp, e300lfp, e500lfp Pecron is getting better with their app :)
