Pedal Commander Installation & Review on the Jeep Gladiator JT

Lately I've been noticing a lot of throttle lag when driving the Gladiator so I decided to buy the Pedal Commander to see what all the talk was about. Does it improve drivability? You bet! So far, I've been happy with the upgrade and there are plenty of driving modes to choose from. As easy as this install is, I decided to just film it anyways.... because why not?

Good review! I had the pedal commander on my 2013 Raptor and it definitely made the driving experience a lot better. I liked sport +1

I used the Pedal commander for almost 2 years on my JT. A couple days ago my check engine light came on and no response from my gas pedal. Warning light for ETC. Electronic throttle control. I turn off the commander and it solved the problem. I removed the device and not going to reinstall.

If you’re thinking of buying the Pedal commanders,DONT. If you have one installed on your vehicle, remove it! The Pedal commander is dangerous! I was lucky. I was only going 30 MPH when I had “ Dead Pedal”, and was able to pull over safely. SOL if your on the freeway trying to pass someone.

I had that problem as well before I mounted it under the dash away from any possibility of the buttons being pressed while the engine was running.
