Martin another honest & informative video. I have the PedalCommander installed on my 2019 RT Ltd and use bluetooth connection, no problems. I made a plastic box and installed the main box out of sight and under the frunk. I love being able to select my ride mode via BlueTooth and usually run in Sport +3 or 4, tried SportPlus and that was too exciting for this older rider. I'll send you an email with pictures of my install just incase they are of use to others.

I think that you could have done a better job explaining what a pedal box does. It does not increase the top speed of your Spyder. It changes how fast your throttle reacts to your inputs. It takes the slack out of your throttle similar to activating the tow /haul setting on a modern pickup truck. As you stated it does not change your air/fuel mixture. It does not increase your Spyder’s maximum HP or torque. Martin you had excellent information on pairing to the Spyder and to your phone!

Hi Martin. I run a Ryker 900 Ace. It's derestricted and runs tuned softwear courtesy of Dynojet. I also run Pedalbox. I have the Bluetooth version, and it has been concealed from day one. I've had it for 2 years without any issues. It is installed inside the Ryker under the left-hand coloured panel. Most times it runs City mode mid setting. For quick riding and competition I run it in Sport. I think Sport + is only for the drag strip. 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Martin, I have Pedal Commander since a few years and have bought in the same time the special waterproof box you made in a very limited serie. (That was before you turned to pedal box.) .I always run whit my pedal commander and everything is fine. But I dont use the highest level (sport+ and maximum 4) that's too much and crazy and dangerous. i like the pedal commander and how it works .Good explanation you made here!

Hi Martin, I have the PB-Pro. So the main brain is stuffed inside the rtl22. The 'remote' which is physically the same size as the original PB (with the same exposed USB-C) can be in the glove box, or on the key ring. Heck in your pocket. A USB-C dust plug might go a long way to protecting the standard PB.

Hello Martin Yes I have a BlueTooth Pedal Box and yes it is hidden the original throttle cable or accelerator cable I think was called the braided cable which was in side a plastic sleeve that went to the throttle body where as the new cars/bikes are wire to the ECU

I have the Pedal Commander, but only use it via the App/BT connection. I installed the unit itself, under the access panel on the right side. No issues to date, even in major downpours.

I just used atv on the opening after I cleaned it with alcohol. haven't had a problem with it at all. Tape and decals will lift after time as the adhesive on the tape breaks down. Atv over tape or decals will do the same thing, don't use tape or decals.

Hi Martin 👋, I have the pedal commander on my Ryker. And to make sure it doesn't take water, I left the box under the body with the connections. And I only drive it with the app. Once my mode is set, my phone goes back in my pocket.

Hello, just wanted to ask if there are specific versions of the device that did not allow Bluetooth connection or do they all have it? Since I bought a Pedal box + 3 or 4 years ago and it works fine with the remote but when trying to connect to Bluetooth when I press the + button for 5 seconds or more, no blue light flashes and when I release my finger it goes like into the next mode like I’ve been switching from sport to sport plus for example. I’d appreciate your help. Thank you!

Yes, there is NO bluetooth version. We dont sell such version but in US other companies do.. we have only the top of the line product 😉😉😉
